Press Release - Holiday Skincare Devices
The first and only FDA-cleared hair removal laser available for at-home use just got better! Re-designed for better results
in half the time, the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X features the same diode laser technology preferred by dermatologists for
in-office laser hair removal. The Tria Laser 4X delivers safe, effective and permanent results in the home.
Treatment is now simpler than ever, thanks to Tria’s exclusive new Pulse
Counter, which has been added to the device to track the number of pulses
per session. A convenient Pulse Counter chart provides the optimum number
of pulses per body part so users know when they have effectively treated each
area. Achieving permanent results is now better than ever — in as few as three
months, when used once a week. In fact, clinical studies demonstrate a 70%
reduction in hair re-growth after 2 treatments, per a study done by Ronald
Wheeland, M.D., at the University of Arizona Health Sciences, Tucson, AZ (2007).
The Tria Laser 4X is now available in Blush and its signature Green color.
A Lilac device will also be available, exclusively to QVC.

How to Use
When applied to the face or body, the Tria Laser 4X automatically emits a single laser pulse targeting the hair follicle.
Simply lift and place the laser tip along the selected treatment area during each session, using the Pulse Counter
to track the optimum number of pulses per treatment area.
The Tria Laser 4X was designed on the principle of selective photothermolysis: Beams of laser energy are absorbed
by the dark pigment in hair and converted to heat, which disables the hair follicle, preventing it from growing new hair.
This process is most effective on hair during the growth phase (anagen phase). For optimum results, the Tria Laser 4X
must be used every week for three months.
Who is it For
When used as directed, the Tria Laser 4X is clinically proven for women and men with light to medium skin tones and
brown to black hair. A chart on the box illustrates the range of suitable skin tones. An integrated skin sensor confirms
appropriate skin tone and unlocks the laser before each treatment. The Tria Laser 4X’s easy-to-use digital display and
five comfort settings allow for a truly “smooth” experience!
The Tria Laser 4X will become available in January 2013 at triabeauty.com, on Tria’s direct response television, at QVC
and premium retailers. Retail price is $449.
